Review: Barry M Chisel Cheeks Contour Kit

I never thought contouring would be something so simple.

You hear the word and see the results and it seems like the most difficult thing in the world. The truth is, contouring is so simple and Barry M has made it even more easier for you to have the cheekbones of your dreams.

The Barry M Chisel Cheeks Contour Kit is a palette made up of three powders: a Highlighter, a Bronzer and a Contour powder. Unlike a lot of contour kits, Barry M have given you a little tutorial on how to utilise the three powders, perfect for those who a dipping their toes into the waters of Contouring.

The Highlighter is a sheer pale ivory powder with golden flecks running through it. It is so sheer that when blended, you can barely see the powder but it creates a beautiful shimmer. This is a perfect highlighter for those who do not want something very glittery or creates a very dewy effect, the powder simply brings a natural lift to the face.

The bronzer is a warm medium brown tone, which is a universal shade that is perfect for adding some real warmth to your face. The powder is very pigmented which means you don't need a lot to create some lovely definition to your face. Finally, the contour powder is dark brown shade which  has grey undertones and is a lot cooler in tone than the bronzer, again the powder is very pigmented and I've found this to be one of the best contouring powders I've used in a long time. As it is very pigmented, it does require some blending out to avoid harsh lines.

The palette is compact and perfect for those on the go and will slide into any make up bag no problem. This palette is also very purse friendly at a price of £6.49, an absolute steal for those looking to start their tuition into contouring. This is a well pigmented, easy to use palette that will have you looking sculpted and modelesque in no time.
