Review: The Body Shop Drops of Youth Bouncy Sleeping Mask

There's something so satisfying about finding an amazing product.

You feel like you've found a soul mate for your face and that all is right with the world because your skin has finally embraced a product with open arms.

That is how I feel about The Body Shop's Drops of Youth Bouncy Sleeping Mask.

I picked up this little goodie at the Liverpool One Drops of Youth Event and since trying it that night, I've been absolutely hooked and I haven't stopped using it since.

This product at first caused me a lot of fascination. This product resembles white jelly and you can't simply scoop this product out of the jar with your hands, you have to use the spatula provided.

The use of the spatula proves to be very handy actually as it helps moderate how much product you use. Due to the consistency of the product, you actually require very little to cover your face and neck, don't you love a product where a little goes a long way?

So, what made me fall head over heels for this product?

Well, when you first apply it, it feels quite goopy and thick on the face and believe me, alarm bells started ringing. I tend to apply the product on my face about ten minutes before I go to bed, leave it to start to soak in and then go to sleep.

When you wake up, your face feels incredible. The skin is extremely moisturised and my face looks fuller, fresher and looks like life has been zapped into it. Due to my combination skin, I often suffer from dry patches, this product is a dream for balancing out the dryness whilst not creating any oil excess in the skin.

Essentially, this product is a wonder and has been an absolute saviour in these colder months. I couldn't recommend this product more and has absolutely revolutionised my skincare regime.

Maybe I am gushing a little, but hey, when it's love, it's love!
