Review: L'Oreal Paris Color Riche Mono in Gold Mania.

The Christmas period is all about sparkle.

So when choosing a new eye shadow, I decided to embrace the sparkle and pick up a L'Oreal Mono Shadow in Gold Mania, an absolutely gorgeous gold shade that is just the prettiest thing I have ever seen.

When spotting this shade, I immediately starting cooing over how pretty the shadow is. I definitely fell a little in love with the product and I couldn't wait to make this the headliner in my eye make up this Christmas period.

The sleek black and gold packaging is compact and easy to transport, perfect for slotting in a make up bag for when you are on the go and need to brighten up your look.

The shade itself has the prettiest shimmer running through it, so I've been using this shadow as a base shadow blended with 'Factory' from the Urban Decay Naked 3 palette for a bronzed smokey eye. This shadow is also a perfect highlighter and opens up the eyes beautifully.

The shadow is very pigmented, so a little definitely goes a long way. For a more softer application, I tend to use a brush and blend it out and for a more solid base, I tend to use my ring finger and apply over the lid. Lasting wise, this is a shadow that does stay on the eyes well even without a primer which is perfect for running to and from those Christmas parties.

Paired with a brown eye pencil, it is perfect for a day time look but with black eyeliner, it is a winner for any Christmas party look. So, if you're looking for an eye shadow that will be sure to brighten up any make up look on these cold, dark days, this little baby will be perfect for you this holiday season.
