Review: Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Concentrate

Oh Kiehl's, where have you been all my life?

I have combination skin which often proves to be highly annoying. My skin is oily one minute and then dry the next. For the last two weeks, my cheeks have been on the dry side for a while so I was in desperate need of a moisture boost.

The Kiehl's store in Liverpool has been slowly calling me towards it for a while now. Somehow I ended up in the store the other week and found myself having a skin consultation with the lovely woman who worked there.

According to the results from the consultation, my cheeks were dehydrated as I suspected. My eyes fell on the Midnight Recovery Concentrate and after a chat with the lovely lady, I picked up this little goodie.

Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Concentrate is a serum that you use at night as it works during the night to hydrate the skin. With natural ingredients such Evening Primrose Oil, Omega-6 Fatty Acids and a blend of essential oils containing Lavender. You have a product which gives a boost of moisture, relaxes the skin and it does all of this while you sleep.

I absolutely love the packaging for this product. The deep blue bottle is stunning and it feels lovely to handle and it has made a very pretty addition to my nightstand. The product recommends two to three drops but I use about three to four drops on my face, which I start by applying it to my cheeks and working it into the rest of the face.

The product smells absolutely divine and relaxes me instantly. It definitely makes applying this product every night and absolute treat.

Now for the results on my skin? Well, my skin looks plump and moisturised every morning and my cheeks no longer feel as dehydrated as they did. All in all, I am ridiculously pleased with this product and I highly recommend it.

The product comes in at £36, which you could argue is a bit on the pricey side. However, for the results you receive from the product and the fact that you're only using a little amount each night, that price tag goes a long way.
