Mini Homeware Haul

I've gone a bit homeware obsessed.

One of the perks of redecorating has to be the amount of time I get to spend in homeware sections. I am that crazy lady who has arms filled with candles, cushions and ornaments that you see lurking about in the homeware departments.

So, I thought I'd share a few things that I've picked up so far.

I was in need of some jars to house some general items such as cotton pads and after much trawling of different shops and websites, I found these two on Ebay (similar here)

These two sweet jars are absolutely gorgeous and perfect for adding to a dressing table to give that vintage look. I picked one up in large and one in medium, which are the perfect size for housing my cotton pads and cotton wool buds. The dusty pink ribbon did not come with the jars but I added the ribbon to the lid of the jars to give that personal touch whilst making them look very pretty.

I'm a little candle obsessed. Now that we're moving into Autumn, I'm even more determined and on the look out for warm and comforting scents. So it is no surprise then that this particular candle has the absolutely, mouth-watering scent of Sea Salt Caramel from WoodWick Candles.

I adore WoodWick candles, not only because they smell absolutely incredible but because the special wick in the candles. When you light a WoodWick candle, you are immediately greeted with the soothing sound of a crackling fire. For me, nothing makes you feel more cosy and relaxed than the sound of a crackling fire.
What is also incredible about these candles is that the scent is so strong that you don't even need to light the candle to have your room be filled with the smell of Sea Salt Caramel. Simply remove the lid and enjoy!

I love flowers but I hate how quickly they wilt and die. There is nothing more tragic looking than a bouquet of flowers dying. So I finally decided to purchase some artificial flowers to fill my room.

I picked up this little jar with artificial roses from ASDA (similar here) after I had purchased my trinket jars. I wanted to keep the theme of vintage style sweet jars running through the accessories in my room.

The great thing about this jar and roses is that it is quite small, so it is perfect for adding to a dressing table, bedside table or simply just placing on a chest of draws. It is the perfect item for just adding that pretty little touch to a room.

Finishing off this little haul is not a new product but rather a rediscovery.

I had totally forgotten that I owned this dapper fellow (similar here) until I found him packed away in a box. Realising that I had missed out on the absolute fabulousness of this piggy bank for many years, he has now returned to pride of place on a shelf. I think this kind of item is great for adding a statement touch to a room with its mirrored surface and bright colour. That and this guy is great for storing away loose change.

So that is it for now, I'm sure I'll be updating you on what other goodies I find whilst in the process of redecorating.

I'm highly recommending ASDA's homeware at the moment as I have been absolutely loving all the new season stock that has been coming in! If you haven't had a peak then head on over to their website and have a look!
