Review: Samy Fat Hair Amplifying Shampoo and Conditioner

Zero calories but makes your hair fat? Oh go on then.

On one of my many pilgrimages to Superdrug, I came across Samy Fat Hair products and I couldn't help but get a little curious. Needing a new shampoo and conditioner, I scooped up the shampoo and conditioner.
I have previously mentioned by woes about how I wish I had thicker hair, so I was eager to see how this product fared.

Firstly, these products are 100% vegan with all natural ingredients, that means no nasty parabens or sulphates.

The one thing I immediately noticed about the products, even after first use, is how lightweight they are on the hair. The products leave your hair not feeling weighed down, which is an absolute bonus for when you're looking for a thickening product.
The conditioner is great at leaving the hair feeling soft and shiny, which again is a definite plus with the product. As for its thickening power? I think its great in creating an illusion of volume on the general length of the hair, but what is excellent in this product is the lift it gives to the roots. I find that my hair can sometimes end up looking flat on the top of my hair but this product really gives that oomph to my roots.

As I dye my hair blonde, I often find that my hair seems to be damaged quite easily. These products have definitely not damaged or dried out my hair in any way. Nor has the product dulled the colour of my hair or started to make it look brassy, which believe me is an overwhelming positive.

So, how do Samy's Fat Hair products fare? I think they're a great product and finding them was a total accident, but a happy accident! I've got my eye on the mousse and spray to add to the collection as well.

You'll be happy to hear that Samy's products are currently half price at Superdrug. So why don't you give the products a go and see if Samy's Fat Hair can give your hair that extra oomph.
