Review: Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Skin Protectant Fragrance Free

I'm feel like I am very late in trying this product.

I'm pretty sure nearly every beauty blogger uses the Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream or has used it in the past.

I had read a lot of reviews about the cream and then other similar products, but I finally decided to purchase the Eight Hour Cream and test it out for myself.
One overwhelming negative about the Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream is the scent which a lot of people describe as almost medicinal. So I chose to purchase the fragrance free version. Whilst there still is the lingering scent of the original formula, it is a little less overpowering and I find that within a minute of applying, you can't smell the product anyway.
Whilst the product is called a cream, it is much more of a gel like consistency, which applies quite thickly on the skin but when absorbed it leaves the skin feeling soft and nourished.
The product is fantastic at dealing with any dry skin, sunburn and chapping. I love using the product as a lip balm as it clears up chapped lips very quickly, it is also really nice to massage into nails and cuticles to soften any hang nails, dry skin or to give the nails some nourishment.

Whilst the cream is hailed as a miracle for dry skin, it is also great as a beauty tool. Great for dealing with unruly eyebrows that need shaping and a lip product that leaves your lips looking plumped and nourished.

What is also great about this product is that it works as a highlighter that creates dewy looking skin without any shimmer, this is probably due to the pigment of the product itself. It is a perfect highlighter for those days when you want the glow without the shimmer.

The cream has become a staple not only in my skincare regime but also as a beauty tool. The cream has a place by my bed and I also carry it around in my handbag for those moments when you need a moisture boost.

I think it is safe to say I am a convert to the Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream.

Are you a user of the Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour or is there another miracle skincare product that you use? Let me know in the comments below.
