Review: James Brown London Volume Boost Shampoo and Rich Moisture Conditioner

Boots is the best and the worst place when it comes to shopping.

The endless naughty offers that they put on make it very difficult for me not to spend a fortune in there. However, once again I somehow ended up in Boots at the hair care section and saw a 2 for £6 offer on the James Brown London line. So it was a total accident when some James Brown products fell into my hands, I promise.

I used to use the Intensive Mask for Hair a good few years ago after receiving it as a gift and I adored it. It was easy then to forget all about James Brown, so when I saw the offer, I knew I had to pick up some products.

I chose to go for the Volume Boost Shampoo and I paired it with the Rich Moisture Conditioner. I had previously been using the Organix Thick & Full Biotin Shampoo and Condtioner, which I loved using, so I was definitely in the market for a shampoo that was going to continue giving me the same results.

The one thing that immediately strikes me about the James Brown line is the packaging. Very simplistic but highly professional, with the all white paired with the black writing that really stands out. As well as the little quotes that are written on the back of each product, which I love reading, as I am the kind of person that reads the back of my products in the shower.

I was highly impressed with both products. The Volume Boost Shampoo is fantastic. It lathers up brilliantly in the shower and leaves your hair feeling thicker and less weighed down. Paired with the Rich Moisture Conditioner, I get hair that feels thicker and feels a lot more softer as well as looking glossier.

The signature scent of the James Brown line reminds me of expensive salon products, so you really feel like you're giving your hair a treat every time you wash it.

All in all, I would highly recommend both these products and as the offer for James Brown products is still on at Boots, go on and treat yourself, I won't tell. I personally cannot wait to go have a look and see what else I can try out.

The James Brown London line can be found at Boots, online or in store.
