Review: Good Things Manuka Honey Daily Moisturiser

Secret of a good moisturiser? If it smells like dessert, it is a winner.

I have previously mentioned my love of Honey scented products in my previous post about the Nivea In-Shower Moisturiser in Pampering Honey. I had been reading about the new Good Things products for a little while before I naturally was walking in to town and then suddenly I was inside Boots. How did that happen again?

After snatching up Manuka Honey Daily Moisturiser, because I always need a new moisturiser, I could not wait to try it. So the minute I got home, I did my usual cleansing routine and put some onto my hand. My response? Oh my god.

The smell alone was enough to make me praise the Gods for buying this moisturiser, it smells like dessert, like a honey crème brulee. If the smell was not enough to make me swoon, when I put it on my face, I was instantly pleased.

According to the product itself, it contains Royal Jelly and Beeswax for intense hydration, which makes your skin feel all fresh and glowing and Bee Venom boosts collagen in the skin, making your skin feel all plump. The Manuka Honey is an antibacterial, helping keep your skin spot free and alongside all that, you get a sunscreen thrown in. Oh and did I mention it is free from parabens, mineral oils and all nasty things like that?

Impressed yet?

It has a thick creamy consistency (think pudding... I know I still am), which when spread across the skin, after leaving your skin to soak up all that goodness, it leaves a non-oily finish. My skin was clearly in need for some hydration and since starting using this product, my skin looks much more hydrated and dare I say it a bit glowing too. I've been using this product every day and when I feel like my skin needs it, I've thrown it in as a bit of an extra moisturising aid with my facial oil at night (Okay, maybe I also use it purely because I want to go to sleep smelling like something I want to eat.)

I could not rate this product any more highly and I have my eyes firmly set on their other products.

You can buy Good Things Manuka Honey Moisturiser for £5.33 at the moment as it is on offer at Boots.
