April Favourites

Where on earth is this year going?

I can't believe it is already May! I'm a busy lady at the moment with dissertation work and I haven't really been out and bought many new products in April. So this month's favourite are some new products and some older products that I love and could not do without!

Sanctuary Spa's Therapists Secret Facial Oil

I did purchase a while ago now, but I absolutely adore this product. I was very suspicious of all the positive reviews I had read before I bought this product, I mean, this product seems to have been adored all round. However, I took the plunge and I do not regret buying this product at all.

My skin is in so much better condition since I started using this product and before where I seemed to have a really lack of glow n my skin, this product really given me a much more healthier glow in my complexion. The two things that are also great about this product are the pipette applicator, which you only really need three drops out of and the smell, I cannot explain to you how much I love the smell of this stuff, it is really natural and herbal, and every time I apply this product to my face, I feel instant relaxation.

Boots Botanics 80% Organic Hydrating Eye Cream,

I never really thought I would be using an eye cream at age twenty-one, but after the internet told me again and again about how it is never too early to start using an eye cream, I buckled. My love of the Botanics range was once again sealed in this product, it is a brilliant product at a cheap price, that is perfect for younger skin, it really nourishes and cools your eye area and it has definitely helped make that area look a lot healthier.

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water

This product is so popular on the blogsphere at the moment and I absolutely know why. As much as I love Bioderma, I was really curious about trying other Micellar Waters, I first tried out the L'Oreal Skin Perfection 3 in 1, which was good but I was looking for that Bioderma dupe. I then heard about Garnier's version and I immediately had to try it.

This product is fantastic, it's great at removing the daily grime and make up from your face, although I'm not hailing it as a miracle product as it does take me a few cotton pads to remove my make up and sometimes I do wake up with a bit of mascara residue. However, compared to the L'Oreal Micellar Water, this product is very much like Bioderma, I really love using this in the morning to wake my skin up, as it really does make my skin feel clean and fresh, and is perfect for using as part of my skin routine.

Fudge Urban Iced Raspberry & Vanilla Hair Spray

I used to adore the TRESemm√© Freeze Hold Hair Spray and it really was my favourite for years, until it started to feel very sticky on my hair and sometimes if I got a little carried away it used to make my hair look and feel absolutely awful. So, then came the hunt for a new hairspray and it was a hairspray that featured in a Tanya Burr video from last year, that caught my eye, but I had forgotten all about it until I found it in Superdrug.

This hairspray is amazing. Aside from feeling amazing on my hair, not leaving it sticky or having to go absolutely overboard on spraying, the smell is unbelievable, it smells exactly as it says on the tin, a beautiful vanilla smell with that hint of raspberry, honestly I just love spraying this product just for the scent, somebody make this into a body spray and stat.

Real Techniques Powder Brush

I adore the Real Techniques brushes, I think they are incredible. I was given the Expert Face Brush as a present at Christmas and I love that brush and believe me, it takes me all the will power in the world not to buy a brush every time I go into Superdrug or Boots. The powder brush I owned broke not that long ago, so it did not take me long to then swiftly purchase the Real Techniques Powder Brush (hey, it was a make up emergency after all!) and I was so thrilled that it is as amazing as the Expert Face Brush. The brush is so soft but has that stiffness that you need for applying powder and most importantly, it gives such a beautiful finish on top of my foundation.

Boots Botanics 80% Organic Super Balm

I already reviewed this little beauty here, and the love affair is still going strong.

That is all the favourites I have this month! So, here's to another month and let's see what products May brings me.What are your April favourites and have you got any predictions for your May favourites? Comment below and let me know.
