Review: Nivea In-Shower Body Moisturiser Pampering Honey

Okay, I'm going to admit something...
I used to hate moisturising. I always bought moisturisers and then I'd use them for a little while and then they'd go into a drawer until I might drag it out again. However, I never had a continuous moisturiser, one that I would religiously use every day, until I found the holy grail.

I heard about the Nivea In-Shower moisturisers in December and I immediately liked the sound of something that I could add to my regular shower routine, that and the worst part about moisturising in the winter months is getting out of your warm shower and having to moisturise in the cold.

I bought the Nivea In-Shower Body Moisturiser Dry, but I was still confused as to how this was going to work. So how do the Nivea In-Shower moisturisers work? Nivea developed a formula that acts as a skin conditioner, meaning that you apply it to wet skin, where it is absorbed, then you simply wash it off. When I first used it, I weirdly thought that it would not work, I laughed to myself as I applied it during my shower, I, however, was proved totally wrong. As soon as I dried off, my skin felt incredible, completely moisturised and fully nourished and I knew in that moment, that I had fallen in love with this product.

The Nivea In-Shower Dry, was an instant hit and I used it continuously till I was literally squeezing it out of the bottle, then came time to replace my new favourite product, thus, on a trip to Boots, I then saw that Nivea had released two new moisturisers: Pampering Honey and Nourishing Cocoa.

Pampering Honey won over Cocoa, as honestly, it was the scent that won me over. The smell of Pampering Honey is warm and comforting, there is almost a hint of vanilla with the sweetness of honey, and every time I use it, I immediately want to eat myself, which in a way is weird but hey, who doesn't want to smell like an incredible baked good? Once again this product was an instant winner, and I found no difference apart from scent between the Nivea Dry and the Pampering Honey.
So what effect does it have on my skin? I generally suffer from dry skin on my elbows and knees, thanks to this little beauty of a product, those areas have definitely improved with using this moisturiser every day. Now, my skin feels consistently smooth now and is in much better condition than it was before I started using the In-Shower moisturisers.

I could not recommend the Nivea In-Shower products enough, if you're like me, a bit of a moisturiser hoarder or always forget about moisturising, this product has just fit neatly into my routine and I honestly don't even think about it now, even when I'm in a rush, I still find time to fit moisturising in.

It's quick and easy and most importantly comes in at a price tag between £2.37, which if you're on a budget, you can still take care of your skin with a highly nourishing product without splashing out!

You can buy Nivea In-Shower products at all supermarkets, Boots and Superdrug.
